The Club is this year supporting Children with Cancer UK and two of our team decided to further add to the funds by having their heads shaved.
Committee member ‘Cider’ Phil Howells and Club member Jack Craven started letting their hair grown back in mid-2023. Prior to the shave event on Sunday 11th August they decided to “highlight” the cause in the true sense of the word, by having their hair dyed. The big event took place with Jade Watt and Lou Osborne in charge of the clippers.
The fundraising has been phenomenal and the final figure will be revealed soon. A big ‘well done’ to both Jack and Cider, and of course all of our lovely members, guests and friends who have supported them.
