Hall Hire

Requests for Bar Extensions MUST be made at the time of paying the deposit.

The hire fee includes one (1) days membership to the DOC Club Ltd. For all listed guests on the day of the function only.

A private function is defined as an activity carried out on the Club’s premises, the request for, and organisation of which, is made by a third party. This does not include general activities organised by the Club’s Committee.

The following terms and conditions apply when any of the Club’s facilities are used for a privately organised function

£100 Deposit MUST be received to confirm booking. Full payment and correctly filled out guest list (120 maximum) MUST be received a minimum of 14 days prior to event.
Unless authorised by Committee NO parties for under 25 year olds will be accepted.
The signatory is responsible for the behavior of their guests and is liable for the cost of any wilful damage to Club or members property, howsoever caused. Excess cleaning / vomit will result in withholding partial or whole deposit.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A FIVE WORKING DAY HOLDING PERIOD BEFORE DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDED IF APPLICABLE.

ZERO TOLERANCE to drugs and abuse of staff etc (Abuse of which shall result in removal from premises – no exceptions)

Hirer is responsible for ensuring entertainments comply to club rules. Strip-a-grams, striptease and other lewd or erotic acts are not permitted.

Deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation by the hirer, unless the circumstances are deemed extenuating by the Committee

At the time of booking the relevant section of the Hall Hire Agreements Buffets form must also be filled out
Entertainment must cease ten minutes after time has been called at the bar. No later than Midnight.

All drinks must be consumed within twenty minutes of the bar closing. Any drinks consumed not purchased from the bar will incur a corkage charge that will be deducted from the Deposit.

Members and Guests must have vacated the building thirty minutes after the bar closes.

Any deviation from these terms must first be agreed by the Club’s main Committee.

Decorations will be allowed, but NO BLUE TAC, PINS ETC. We can provide sticky dots and ribbon. NO CONFETTI.

STYLE TABLE DECORATIONS (If these have been found to be used and excessive cleaning is needed a reduction from the deposit will be made)

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE T’s & C’s ARE A CONDITION OF OUR CLUB LICENCE. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY BY THE STIPULATED TIME, YOUR EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED AND ANY PAYMENTS MADE WILL BE FORFEITED. YOU MUST SIGN YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO T’s & C’s.
